K-tech Semiconductor Fabless Centre of Excellence
Government of Karnataka in association with India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA) , has set up K-Tech Semiconductor Fabless Accelerator Lab (SFAL), Centre of Excellence for Indian fabless semiconductor product companies easy access to (otherwise exorbitantly expensive) R&D infrastructure for e.g. EDA Tools, Design IPs (foundation IPs/ Core IPs), Foundry access – foundry design kits, subsidized test chip shuttles, Server Farm and other physical infrastructure, in order to enable them to successfully do their design to all the way to product prototypes.
It is conceived as one stop shop for India’s fabless product companies and start-ups for providing state-of-art infrastructure, linkages to the stake holders of the eco-system, networks to mentors, industry and financial institutions and solutions to ease the business operations.
